THE GATHERING
We are a community in Harlow for anyone seeking an honest space to explore faith in Jesus. We are particularly passionate about welcoming those struggling with addiction, mental health challenges, or anyone simply looking for a place where they can be themselves.
An equally warm welcome to those who have a heart to walk alongside others who are going through difficult times
OUR GATHERINGS
We meet in homes in Harlow every Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
Our time together is simple:
We begin by sharing a meal.
We talk about what God is doing in our lives.
We look at the Bible together.
Worship/Holy Spirit: We remain open to the leading of the Holy Spirit.Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light

WE WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR MONEY
We do not own or rent a building nor do we intend to.
We do not pay anyone a salary because we do not have an organisation that needs managing nor do we intend to become one.Love is the nature of his church
That’s why his church is a family
A heavenly Father inviting us to take our place in his home
An older brother Jesus, who empathises with our struggles and offers us grace in time of need
The Holy Spirit who empowers us
Brothers and sisters who live alongside us with love and honor.
The church reflects the best of what a family can be

We love the gospel, Scripture, and Jesus.
We believe that what Jesus accomplished on the cross is enough to meet every need.
We value everyone's participation as together we discover the God who loves us just as we are, but loves us too much to leave us as we are.
We in turn practice loving one another as we have experienced God loving us
As the band James once sang, It's hard to carry on when you feel all alone. For those who feel the breath of sadness or a touch of madness or find themselves ridiculous, let's sit down together and discover God's unforced rhythms of grace.
